2 track EP to bring the Solo Bass Project to a close (for now).
Both tracks written and recorded in April 2019 in Glastonbury as a final reminder of everything that's been accomplished over the past 12 months.

Track Listing
1 - Pedestal
This initially started out as a track I'd written on guitar but just couldn't get a melody for it.
Switched the instrument and the melody popped out.
Again, creating a B-section moved it away from the initial idea but it felt appropriate at the time.
The title is a reference as to how I frequently put people on some kind of pedestal and ultimately, it causes my own wellbeing some harm.

2 - Trippin'
I wanted to create something similar to the Flecktones' "Sex in a Pan" where the bassline has a melody within it and could be played without the additional looping layers.
So with the B-Section, it's less of an accompaniment and melody over the top, it's all in one so fits with something more similar to "Nancy & George".
However, it took some serious practice to get down as my fingers would trip over themselves in the tapping section.
