Those who follow me on Instagram (Skinflower_music) will have seen this come together.
Inspired by the artwork of James Budden (www.jamesbudden.co.uk) and written and arranged during his Monday night livestreams.
In particular, James has been painting some pieces focusing on light, particularly Crepuscular Rays and recently, these candles.
The artwork is taken from one of his pieces that came together whilst I wrote the lead line.
I was trying to replicate an audio version of how light "Plays", particularly natural light.
I like to think the ethereal, almost pipe-like lead line over the main loop captures that sense.
