about

My very good friend James (jamesbudden.co.uk) has always been an inspiration to me.
Not only a phenomenally talented artist, he’s a fantastic musician as well. One of the things he’s always encouraged me to do is look at ascending/descending chromatic lines within melody (and bass lines).
Combining that with an idea about keeping a note within the chord shape and creating harmony by moving the chord around it, I developed this.
The sounds reminded me of the sound of water flowing, especially like a stream full of rocks which is where the title came from.
